Occupational therapy, delivered to the community
Live Free Health exists so that people can live free of barriers, free of stigma, and with the freedom of choice and control over their own care.
Why the practice exists
Ellen Williams started Live Free Health after more than a decade working across insurance, veterans’ services, aged care and disability — and watching the same thing happen again and again. People waiting months for an assessment. Reports written by someone who’d never seen their house. Equipment prescribed by a clinician they met once and never saw again.
The practice was built to do the opposite. We come to you. You know who you’re seeing before they arrive, and you keep seeing them. And we say what we think, including when the honest answer is that you don’t need what you came asking for.
How we work
Mobile, always. Assessments happen where the difficulty happens — at home, at work, in the community.
Continuity of clinician. You’re not passed between whoever is available this week.
Multidisciplinary by habit. We work alongside GPs, physios, psychologists, support coordinators and providers rather than around them.
Honest about scope. If we’re not the right service, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere better.
