A simple way to think about pacing when fatigue is part of daily life. Sort your activities into green, amber and red, and plan a week that doesn’t end in a crash. Useful for chronic illness, chronic pain, post-viral fatigue and recovery.
A one-page grounding exercise for moments of anxiety, overwhelm or dissociation. Works through what you can see, hear, touch, smell and taste to bring attention back to the present. Print it and stick it somewhere you’ll find it.
Turn a vague goal into something you can actually work towards, with steps, timeframes and a way of noticing progress. We use a version of this with clients at the start of capacity building work.
