Occupational therapy services across Newcastle and the Hunter

Everything we do happens where you live your life. Below is the full range, grouped by service type.

Occupational therapy helps people do the things they need and want to do every day — getting washed and dressed, moving safely around the house, cooking, working, studying, getting out into the community. Live Free Health is a mobile practice, which means our occupational therapists come to you rather than asking you to come to a clinic.

People usually arrive knowing what’s hard, not what the service is called. If you can describe the problem, we can work out which of these fits — call us on 1300 921 406 and we’ll tell you straight, even if the answer is someone other than us.

Assessments and reports

When a decision needs evidence behind it — a plan reassessment, a housing change, an application to the NDIS — these are the reports that provide it.

Equipment and the home

When the environment or the equipment is the thing getting in the way. Both NDIS and aged care funding require an occupational therapist to prescribe these.

How it’s funded

We work with NDIS plans (self, plan and NDIA managed), Support at Home, Medicare care plan referrals, and private clients. Occupational therapy is fully government funded under Support at Home.
